Students of the School of Art won awards at the 5th Lions Joint Exhibition and Japan Asia Industrial Design Competition

Recently, the winners of the 5th Lions Joint Exhibition and Japan Asia Industrial Design Competition were announced. Li Jialong, a student of the School of Art, won the Silver Award in the Environmental Art Student Group, and Hu Xiaoqing won the Bronze Award, also in the Environmental Art Student Group.

The organizers of this competition are the Japan Design Committee of Asia Industrial Design Society, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan Industrial Design Association, Tokyo Itabashi Art Association, International Center, Tokyo Kita Art Association, and so on.

 Asia Cultural Promotion Organization (AECDO), Asia Industrial Design Alliance (AAID), China Lions Joint Exhibition Media ,and China-Japan One Belt One Road Promotion Association undertook the competition.

The competition set up six categories such as visual communication, product design, environmental art design, multimedia, costume decoration design, and hand-painted art. Over 5 months, nearly 1,000 works from contestants from Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and other countries and regions participated in the competition.
