Recently, Jiangxi Province, the eleventh college students art exhibition activities in East China Jiaotong University came to a successful conclusion. This activity is hosted by the Department of Education of Jiangxi Province, to thick planting national sentiment, cultivate enterprising character as the theme, divided into art performance, student art practice workshop, art works and university aesthetic education reform and innovation of the four categories of excellent cases, attracted from the province's 31 colleges and universities, 133 art performance programmes, art works, Art practice workshops and works of art exhibition to participate in the provincial exhibition and evaluation. Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, School of Art in the show performed well, won the first prize 2, second prize 4, third prize 4.

I. Performing Arts

The Artistic Performance category includes vocal music, instrumental music, dance, drama (theatre) and recitation. The repertoire Desert Rose directed by teachers Qiu Yaoyao, Zou Chenna and Luo Min won the first prize, showing the vitality and toughness in the desert. The chorus Returning to the Garden directed by teachers Gao Yun, Fang Qing and Ge Meng won the third prize, interpreting the profoundness of Chinese culture in a choral way. The group dance The Momentous Years directed by teachers Xi Zhenying, Luo Min and Fu Yan won the third prize, recreating the vicissitudes and splendour of history through dance.

II. Categories of works of art

The art works include painting, calligraphy and seal cutting, photography, design and microfilm. In the Painting Works Competition of Undergraduate Group B, the painting Tranquil Hometown created by Wei Zhengshun under the guidance of Mr Zhang Xiangsen won the second prize. The work delicately and vividly depicted the tranquility and beauty of the hometown.

III. Art Practice Workshop for Students

The Student Art Practice Workshop included four parts: Art and Technology, Art and Life, Art and Beautiful Countryside, and Art and Campus. In the design competition of undergraduate group B, under the guidance of Prof. Fong Yuxiang, Wu Yongqi won the second prize of the design category with his work RIVER CLEANING; Associate Professor Huang Zhiming and Liu Xinwei instructed the Haiqing Banquet series of packaging design of dried shrimp in the east of Fujian Province (created by Tong Jingyu, Xu Jing, and Ding Lingxiang) and the Denglong Powder Qian series of packaging design (created by Shen Jiayi, Qiu Kaibin, and Yingdie) won the third prize of the design category, respectively. won the third prize in the design category. These works fully demonstrated the students' talent and creativity in the field of design.

IV. Outstanding Cases of Reform and Innovation of Aesthetic Education in Colleges and Universities

In the competition of excellent cases of aesthetic education reform in colleges and universities, the aesthetic education projects of the College of Arts performed well. Public Choral Curriculum Construction and Practical Innovation (Gao Yun, Li Eryong, Ge Meng) won the first prize of Excellent Cases, Art Horse Dangxian Weekend Cultural Plaza (Xiao Yong, Liu Ling, Wang Hao) and Exploration and Practice of Red Music Aesthetic Educational Spirit (Hu Ling, Li Frost) won the second prize of Excellent Cases, which fully demonstrated the innovative practice and remarkable achievements of the reform of aesthetic education in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

The College of Fine Arts has achieved fruitful results in the 11th Jiangxi University Students' Art Exhibition, demonstrating a successful case of reform and innovative practice in aesthetic education, and setting an example for cultivating high-quality talents with international vision and innovative spirit. In the future, the college will continue to uphold the school motto of Faith, Sensitivity, Integrity and Perseverance, and continue to explore and innovate, so as to contribute to the cultivation of more artistic talents with international influence.
